Show Meeting Set The American Legion Auxiliary, Auxil-iary, Wm. R. Sands Unit 5, will hold a special social meeting at the Myton Hotel Wednesday afternoon. Reports on Americanism Ameri-canism and Communitly Service, Ser-vice, will be the special feature of the meeting. Merrill . Chandler, who was . hospitalized in Salt Lake City I as a result, of an accidental gunshot, gun-shot, wound, is reported greatly improved. Mr. and Mrs. Chandler Chand-ler left Tuesday to get the boy from the hospital. Merrill will spend a short time with relatives rela-tives there before he is strong enough to travel home. ( Visitors at the home of Mr. 1 and Mrs. Lavar Peterson are Mr. and Mrs. Dean Peterson and daughters, of Taft, California. Cali-fornia. They were called here by the death of Mrs. Peterson's father, W. C. Hancock, and will also visit Mr. Peterson's mother, Mrs. N. L. Peterson, who is hospitalized in Roosevelt. Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish visited Sunday in Duchesne at the home of Mrs. Dalgleish's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hart. James Paxman returned home Saturday from Salt Lake City, accompanying his daughter and i son-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Mar-ion Felter, of Roosevelt. Mr. Paxman has been confined to a hospital there during the past two weeks. Emery Nielson, who was confined con-fined to the Roosevelt Hospital for a lengthy period, returned home last week and is steadily improving. A. L. Schuckers went to Mt. Pleasant Saturday to get his , son, Jim, and Howard Funk, students at Wasatch Academy. The boys enjoyed a weekend vacation here, returning Mcn-day Mcn-day with other students from Roosevelt. |
