Show Jr. High Art Show Slated At 5 Points - The second annual Davis District Jr. High Art show will open Tuesday, March 22 and run through Saturday, March 26 at the 5-Points Mall in Bountiful. Boun-tiful. Approximately eight of the 11 district junior highs plan to participate. MRS. CARMA Hart, Bountiful Boun-tiful Junior High art teacher and president of the newly organized Davis Art Teacher's Association has been spearheading spear-heading many recruit opportunities opportu-nities for students and residents resi-dents of Davis County to further furth-er art awareness and opportunities opportu-nities in the schools. These activities include two Saturday art workshops for junior high students, a first annual senior high scholarship competition exhibit at Bountiful Bounti-ful Art Center, the first part of March and the upcoming junior high exhibit at 5-Points Mall. Mrs. Janet Harvey and Layton Patterson are in charge of the 5-Points show, with Mrs. Jolene Little, Mueller Park, as PTA coordinator. FUTURE plans of the Davis Art Association include credit art courses for teachers and other relevant sharing activities. |
