Show West Bountiful We hope that Gerald Brown is much better after his bout with the flu. The Bill Birds travel back and forth to Salt Lake to visit with Bill's mother, Mary Bird, who is recuperating from heart surgery. Grant Bartschi's folks visited vi-sited from St. George. They are George and Bernice Bart-schi. Bart-schi. The Allan and Dan Taylors went out to dinner together just before the Allan Taylors left town to live in California. Vera Hoffman is recuperating recuperat-ing at home. Marj. and Fred Zesiger had a visit from her brother Stuart and wife from Orem. Ruby Olsen has had visits from her daughters from time to time. Her daughter Evelyn Green has been a frequent visitor visi-tor lately. Bud and Lola Olsen also are frequent visitors. Tammy Olson, daughter of the Terry Olsens and Kerry Soelberg have been enjoying the basketball season at Viewmont. View-mont. They both were on the team. 2nd Ward Mia Maids and Teachers had a fun picnic at the church and watched a video tape. The Primary of the 2nd Ward had their special activity day on March 15. The theme of the festivities was "Green is Magic." Kevylyn Okelberry visited in West Bountiful last weekend. She lives in American Amer-ican Fork. Congratulations to Larry and Dawn Hardy in the birth of a baby boy. The 6th Ward Relief Society has a new face. The president is Sharri Mclnelly. Anita Sheffield Shef-field is one of the counselors and Jean Breinholt is secretary. sec-retary. Clara Turner was happy to have a visit from her son Leon Turner, from Salt Lake City. Willard Beck is recovering with the care of his wife. His son is helping too as he visits from Florida. Jason Scott was married to Nanette Del'Andrae last Saturday. They were married and had their reception in the Eldredge House. They will live in Bountiful. Darrell Greaves had surgery and was on the way to recovery, recov-ery, just before LaVerne Greaves had surgery. Ethlyn Sargent has been down with pneumonia. She is recovering. LuAnn and Rick Bingham are parents of a baby boy. LaGrande and Vera Olsen are announcing the birth of a baby boy. The Don Curtis' family were together for their monthly gathering last week. Those present were Rand and Leslie Curtis from Logan; Brent and Kerrie Curtis, Logan; Lynn and Brent and three, from Ben-nion; Ben-nion; Paul and Sandy Curtis, from Sandy. The gathering was at the home of Karen and Karl Smart in Centerville. The Will Chastons have been babysitting the children of Will's brother, Joe. Their mother has been hospitalized. Another brother Kelly Chas-ton, Chas-ton, who works for Men-denhall Men-denhall Equipment, also brought his two children for a visit after the former children had gone home. The 5th Ward High Priest Social held March 11 was a success. The dinner was held at the Chuck-A-Rama. Kenneth Maloy was awarded a bronze award for his outstanding missionary work. Paul Malloy is singing in the Ogden Institute Choir. He has the fun of being one of the soloists. |
