Show School District budget to be presented Tuesday Tuesday night the Park City Board of Education will present its proposed budget for the 1984-85 school year. The budget will be available for public inspection through June 12, said the district's Business Administrator Bill Sampson. "During this initial go around we will be looking for public comment on expenditures expendi-tures in other areas of the curriculum such as foreign languages and computer science. We will also be looking for input on several capital budget items such as landscaping costs, developing develop-ing the playing fields and building a math science wing," said Superintendent Tony Mitchell. Mitchell added that reducing reduc-ing the student-to-teacher ratio at the elementary school is another important concern. This year's budget will also include the new voted leeway which was approved by voters last November. Although the Board of Education was given the right to levy up to five additional mills, Mitchell said that state law will limit the board to a maximum of 4.02 voted leeway mills this year. The board has not yet determined how much of the voted leeway it will need, said Mitchell. |
