Show Next phase of Resort Center set to begin Excavation for the next phase of The Resort Center condominium project has been scheduled to begin May 7. According to Michael D. Gallivan, general manager of the project, this year's construction will include two new buildings, approximately approximate-ly 81 new condominium units, 12,000 square feet of new commercial space and 138 more underground parking spaces. "The first building, its 35 units and all of the parking and commercial space should be completed by Thanksgiving," said Gallivan. Galli-van. "The second new building will be framed by winter with completion on the interiors of another 46 units scheduled for spring, 1985." By the time ski season opens next year, the public areas of Village One will be finished," he continued. "The commercial area will completely surround the ice rink and will include more shops, restaurants and a new fitness club with hot tubs, swimming pool and weight rooms, all overseen by an in-house in-house therapist." The new units have changed slightly in interior design from the original building at the Resort Center. Cen-ter. Gallivan said they will be slightly larger and will include glass-enclosed decks. Eight different unit configurations config-urations are contemplated, ranging from 560-square-foot studios up to units with nearly near-ly 2,000 square feet, two bedrooms, bed-rooms, a full loft and four bathrooms. The Resort Center has been masterplanned for four villages, up to 750 condominium con-dominium units, 60,000 square feet of commercial space and 2,400 underground parking spaces. It is a project of Prudential Development Company, an affiliate of Prudential Financial Services Corporation Cor-poration which is headquartered headquar-tered in Salt Lake City. |
