Show Loble gets a raise The City Council has just raised City Manager Arlene Loble's salary by $9,000 a year to $49,000. The council move came after an evaluation period, Loble said. The council awarded Loble the raise last week, quashing rumors that she might be leaving town. Loble said that while she was asked to apply for city manager jobs in Boulder and Aspen, Colorado, she has no intention of leaving Park City. "Everything Aspen has to offer, Park City has more of," she said. Loble said that the fact that the resort towns of Vail and Aspen had openings for city managers may have led to speculation about her leaving Park City. She added that she hadn't had a raise in a year and a half. Loble has held the City Manager position since October of 1980. |
