Rena Jensen joins Travel House staff Travel House, the oldest travel agency in Park City, hired a new manager recently. recent-ly. Rena Jensen, a 12-year Park City resident, brings over 15 years of travel business experience to her new post. Jensen said she will handle all promotions and training and will also do basic ticketing and reservation service. Before joining the Travel House, Jensen said she ran the corporate office of Clawson & Harvey Travel of Salt Lake, which owns Travel House. The firm want ed someone with experience to run and promote the Park City firm, so Jensen was offered of-fered the position, she said. In Jensen's 15 years in the travel business, she said, she has worked for a cruise line, an airline, and various travel agencies. Jensen has instituted a program of incentives at Travel House. She said anyone who buys a ticket now receives a gift. People can either accept the gift, or use the points toward better gifts such as televisions or free trips. In another change, she said the Travel House plans to start staying open week-nights week-nights until 8 p.m. and Saturdays to accommodate people who can't get to the agency during normal working hours. The firm has been in Park City for more than five years. |
