Show The Kimball Art Center's 'workshop will deal with seven different areas. According Ac-cording to St. Clair, she will discuss: (1) How what you think affects your life and others; (2) How to protect yourself, family and friends from negative energy; (3) Meditation as stress release; (4) Auras: (5). Mental telepathy; tele-pathy; (6) Psychometry; and (7) Using your psychic abilities in your day-to-day life. St. Clair received national attention following the "National "Nat-ional Enquirer" contest. The editors of the publication sealed a photo of Arlington's Arling-ton's Tomb of the Unknowns in a bank vault. Readers were then asked to describe the photo. St. Clair said she received the image through meditation. Students should bring a sack lunch. Cost for the class is $35 for the Kimball Art Center members and $40 for nonmembers. KAC Offers Ceramics Classes A new eight-week session of ceramics classes is scheduled sche-duled to begin at the Kimball Art Center March 16 and 17. Gary Compagna will teach both courses. Beginning classes will be held Tuesday evenings from 6 to 9:30, and the intermediate interme-diate classes will be held Wednesday evenings from 6 to 9:30. There will be a limit of seven students in each class. According to Compagna, "The beginning course will encompass some techniques in handbuilt and wheel-throwing, wheel-throwing, glazing, firing and general knowledge of clay. Intermediate ceramics will encompass a more advanced approach to functional pottery pott-ery using slab and wheel-thrown wheel-thrown techniques. The intermediate in-termediate course will also include glazing and firing." The cost for each class is $55 for Kimball Art Center members and $60 for non-members. non-members. There is also a firing fee of $10. The first 25 lbs. of clay will be free. Students must provide their own tools. |
