Show Henley Resigns Police Post After more than two years of the force. Park City Police Department Patrolman Danny Dan-ny Henley has resigned his post. According to Chief Frank Bell, Henley resigned to accept a similar position with the Heber City Police Department. Henley is a resident of Heber City. The patrolman's resignation comes in the wake of a similar action taken last month by Carey Yates. Yates also left the force to join the Heber City Department. The resignation leaves the PCPD currently short three officers. Bell said he expects to being interviewing next week in an effort to fill the vacancies. The department is additionally addition-ally short two more men because Sargeant Joe Offret and Detective Lloyd Evans are attending a special two week seminar conducted in Salt Lake by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Chief Bell said the shortness short-ness of man power was an inconvenience for the force but posed no serious immediate im-mediate problems. "If need be" he said, "I'll pull a shift myself." |
