Show J. OTTE PLEADS GUILTY. Young Man Prominent In Amateur Theatricals. Admits Attck-ing Attck-ing Girl.. Logan, Aug. 1. Judge Brangbam s court today considered criminal cases. Warren McDonald, Paul Hansen and Andrew Nelson were charged with offenses of-fenses ngnlnst chastity. Their case were held over. Ed Richards was convicted of indecent in-decent conduct and sentenced to fifteen fif-teen days on the county farm. Joseph Otte pleaded guilty to tine charge of Indecent conduct. He will be sentenced tomorrow The maximum maxi-mum peDalty is a $.S0 fine and thirty days In Jail. Otte Is alleged to have attacked a girl, whose cries for help attracted the officers and led to Oite"s arrest. Otte has been prominent In school and musical circles here. He was a leading member of the Agricultural College Dramatic club last winter, and won considerable favorable comment in the newspapers of Salt Lake and other cities for bis work. Recently ho has been singing In a local theater. |
