All the officials were enthusiastic over the appearance . of the, new station sta-tion nnd were unanimous in the dec- laratlon that it is one of the finest in the west wfih splendid track en-J en-J trances. Tne new double track going go-ing south was especially commended In the meadows 5.000 cars of gravel have been dumped to bring the track up to grade. Mr Lomax said in the evening that the road would be opened on August 22, but until after the meeting he could not cay what trains would be operated or on what time, but that to get everything nicely started one train at least would leave this city on the the opening day nud then as the traffic traf-fic demands other trains will be put ,on. It will be some time yet before the road puts on limited trains from Chicago, but this, with all other im-proemenis, im-proemenis, will follow in due time, until within the year the roud will be operated on a regular and well arranged ar-ranged Echedule.
