Gilmour, who has been in Og den and vicinity for the past ten days making an investigation of th feasibility feasibil-ity of a hotel project at Promontory Point, will depart for San Francisco tonight, having completed his survey. He will make his report direct to President Paul Shoup of the Soulhern Pacific. While Mr. Gilmour has given out no statement concerning his estimate of the project, it is believed thnt he has not been unfavorably impressed. The matter was first brought to the attention of President Shoup by the Merchants of Ogden some weeks ago, canlzation seemed so good that Mr Gilmour, who Is well versed in resort hotel matters, was sent here to invest!-gat invest!-gat the possibilities. It seems probable prob-able that the hotel will be built on the lake. oo |
