Show UU 1 SCOTS ENJOY OUTING AT LAGOON. When the local Scots pat ben d at Lagoon la;-1 Wednesday afternoon to spend their annual outing there was aj fine representation present and it Is almost needless to say that all en-j en-j i the program of eenis scheduled sched-uled for the day and evening. The address of the day was given by Reverend John Edward Carver, who pol Inb n tlngly on "Scotland's part in the war." George D. Mcleod presidi d as chairman oi the program , ad also gave a short talk. Music, both vocal aud instrumental, was given, a feature of which was the Ogden Pipe band, A spectacular feature of the pro ram was the dance given by Thomas Hamilton of the r.Sth Canadian Canadi-an Highlander. Races and other sports were enjoyed by all and prises Wi re riven out. Basket lunches were taken. |
