This is an exceptionally pood wage, but other girls are earning from $7 50 to $25 per week, and an average girl earns irom $13 to $20; ?7. 50 is the minimum wage and most f;irls go over this figure in two or three weeks. Some girls earn $13 or $11 after this time. All applicants are put through a school for the purpose of fitting fit-ting them for their positions. This u;.ually lasts two or three days. K f f i -cient instructors are provided so that a girl starts out advantageously. Production in this plant is steadily on the increase, and there is still room for about twenty-five girls. The work is steady and interesting. The day's work begins at 8 00 o'clock a. m., and ends at 5 00 o'clock p. m, with an hour for lunch. The week's work ends I m Saturday at 12 o'clock noon.
