Among those from Brigham who aro enjoying the shores of Bear Lake aro the following, who departed Saturday for a ten days' outing: Dr. nnd Mrs. 0. W. Henderson, Attorney and Mrs. Le-Roy Le-Roy B. Young. Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Wright, and Miss Mabel Wright of Richfield, Utah. Miss Louise Ilorsley. Miss Hattlo Nichols nnd Miss Lola Nichols spent a week's vacation in Salt Lake City, returning re-turning to their duties at tho county recorder's office on Monday. W. L. Hoist, manager of Peach Day, was in Salt Lake City on Tuesday negotiating ne-gotiating for leaguo baseball teams for tho celebration which Is to be hold , September 11. t Mr. nnd Mrs. J. C. Lindsay and Mr. and Mrs. Dave Wntson nnd family of Ogden motored to Brigham Sundny. They were joined hero by Mr. and Mrs. Orson Nelson and daughters, Misses Arietta. Freda and Norma, Mr. and Mrs. W. II. Gleave and family, Miss Alice Bierdneaux of Logan, Mr. Will Kunzler and Mr. Clarence Perry of Willard. The party motored to the fish hatchery to spend tho day in tho cool of the grove. Mrs. Sarah Squires went to Ogden Thursday evening to visit her daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Charles Tilotson. Mr. and Mrs. Lorenzo Pett had as their guests on Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Imer Pett and family, Mrs. Joe Streng, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Cluff all of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Stewart Kohn of New York. The party made the trip from Salt Lake by auto. Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Hillam and daughter Verns of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wing of Ogden were visiting relatives nnd friends in Brigham on Tuesday. Mrs. F. D. Farrell, Mrs. Nels Jensen, Miss Rae Knudson, Miss Olive Jenson, and Miss Opal Knudson motored to Logan Friday to spend the week end as the guests of friends. Mrs. E. A. Box went to Ogden Tuesday Tues-day to spend ten days visiting her daughter, Mrs. J. A. Lee. Mrs. Zola C. Jeppson returned from Nampa, Idaho, on Tuesday morning whero she had been spending several days visiting relatives. The superlntendency of the Second ward Religion class entertained at th home of Mrs. P.-J. Petersen on Fri-tlay Fri-tlay evening In compliment to Miss Grace Valentino and Miss Lcora Crompton, who have been faithful workers in tho organization for several sev-eral years past but will attend school at the University of Utah this winter. Games, music and social conversation wero the. features of entertainment and tho serving of refreshments concluded con-cluded the pleasure. Each young lady was presented a silver napkin ring as a token of appreciation. Mr. and Mrs. C. 0. Mr. Bradford who was enlisted in tho army, left the same evening for Colorado and Mrs. Bradford Brad-ford returned home. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Mlchclls and children were Ogden visitors a few days last week. Mr. and Mrs. David Dorton and children returned from a pleasant outing out-ing to Idaho after spending a week or ten day3. Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Preston of Brigham Brig-ham City spent a few days here visiting vis-iting with their son L. W. Preston and family. . Mrs. Daniels and daughter Verna of Payson are guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. V. Dan lei?. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Boyd nnd family fam-ily or Twin Falls visited friends here last week. E. V. Schneider, automobile repairer, repair-er, enlisted in the army last Friday and will leave for Fort Logan, Colorado, Colora-do, August 5th. Miss Annie Munns, Miss Delia Earl and Miss Delia Hull were among the visitors to Biglers Grovo on the Twen-ty-lourth of July. The officers and teachers of the Primary Pri-mary wero entertained al a picnic party par-ty at the factory hotel lawn Wednesday Wednes-day of last week. Mrs. Paul Hinman was in charge of-the affair and a program pro-gram was given. Games wero Indulged Indulg-ed in during tho afternoon and refreshments refresh-ments were served. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Shaw of Logan were visitors here for a few days last week. Mr. and Mrs. Owens of Logan wero guests of their daughter and son-in-law R. T.
