Show 1. il. CRAWFORD IS TO DELIVER SUNDAY SERMON Sunday will bo a very special day in many an American home and most of the American churches. Tomorrow tho distance of the seas will bo bridged bridg-ed as the American homes and American Amer-ican churches answers in the call of tho Y. M. C. A. and other moral and religious forces to unite in a day of worship and prayer for the wounded and suffering in tho great attack as iwell as supplication for tho Allied cause. , The union church services on of the city will have tho appeal of tho soldiers in mind and obsorve it at tho union service in First Presbyterian church Sunday night. The music, tho prayers and the sermon will deal with the united call issued by tho soldiers and their workers for Sunday to be the mid summer day of prayer and worship for our cause. The sermon will be delivered by the D. William Crawford, one of tho best speakers in the mountain country. The national nation-al colors will bo used in the church decorations and the national hymns and anthems will be sung. nn |
