Show ' PERsniu. IoteT John Smeed, of the Caldwell Horse and Mule company of Caldwell, Idaho Is on a buying trip in Ogden. Ho is spending most of his time at the Union Un-ion stockyards. Tho Western Livestock Company received a shipment of choice cattle and hogs from the Danielson and Bower Bow-er Livestock company of Burlcy, Idaho. Ida-ho. They arrived the latter part of the week. Otto Meek and Co., horse dealers, Bhipped a car of horses to St. Louis, Mo,, during the week. Frank Maxwell, representing tho National Stockyards of 111., is in Ogden Og-den this week purchasing horses and mules. Ho arrived last Thursday. Harry Barnett, of California, was at the local stockyards with four car loads of horses from various California points, during the week. W. Goldburg, a horse buyer often seen at the Ogden market, arrived during dur-ing tho week with three cars of horses hors-es from Oregon and Washington. Ho brought some exceptionally fine animals ani-mals from the eastern Oregon section. sec-tion. Jake Baker brought a car load of horses from Soda Springs early this week. V. E. Addey, of Logan, was on the local market for stock last Wednesday. Wednes-day. G. B. Montgomery was here from Rupert, Idaho, last Thursday. He had a fine shipment of cattle, sheep and hogs. R. R. Bittenger, Ed. Mason, AJ Con-dra, Con-dra, H. A. Pool, and M. Smith all livestock men from points of southorn Idaho, were at the Union stockyards with large shipments of livestock. Thoy all report a first class condition in tho cattle and sheep business of Idaho. |
