The dogs are the property of Captain Cap-tain Douglas S. Hertz, who leads them in the exciting slave chases which are features of the photoplay. The dogs were taken to Bath, Me., where the riv-, riv-, cr scenes of "Uncle Tom's Cabin" wore photographed, and it "was found difficult to secure accommodations for the animals. They were finally lodg"cd in cells at the police station where they remained until the chase scenes wore completed. Miss Clark plays two roles in "Uncle "Un-cle Tom's Cabin," those of Eva and Topsy. She appears simultaneously in the same scenes by the aid of dou-blc dou-blc exposure photography, the effect at times being weird. She Is finely supported by capable players chief among whom aro J. W. Johnston, Florence Flor-ence Carpenter, Frank Losee, Ruby Hofman, Susanne Willis and Jerc Austin. |
