Show I MR. J. G. FALCK SURPRISED. Mr. J. G. Falck, one of Ogdcn's prominent men, fiscal agent at the forestry for-estry service, celebrated his 56th birthday birth-day last evening nt tho Falck home, 2665 Monroe avenue. However, Mr. Falck had not intended to observe the anniversary of his birth and had seated seat-ed himself in a comfortable chair to read the evening newspaper when a party of twelve friends walked in unannounced un-announced and proceeded to make tho day a memorable one. The affair, was a complete surprise and therefore doubly dou-bly entertaining. While the gentlemen gentle-men enjoyed cards, tho ladies knitted and later in tho evening Mrs, Falck served a perfectly prepared luncheon. Each guest brought Mr. Falck an acceptable ac-ceptable gift and several presented him with a beautiful picture as an appreciation ap-preciation of his friendship and as a remembrance of his birthday. |
