Show U. S. CASUALTIES M FRENCH FRONT WASHINGTON, Feb. 9. Wounding of two more American soldiers ln action ac-tion was reported today by General Pershing. Both wore infantry privates and wero only slightly wounded. Frank Chavers wounded January 30. His mother lives on Center Road, San Jose, Cal. Joo Pokas, Deslaco, N. D., wounded February 5. Tho following deaths, not In action, also wero reported: Privates: Charles C. Burns, pneumonia, pneu-monia, Brookesmith addition, Houston, Texas. Gcorgo W. Ross, pneumonia, 2134 Market street, San Francisco. Herbert Oloman, empeymia, sister Mrs. Lottie Oinora, Marshfield, Ore. Robert Nov, diabetes, 49 East La Platte street, Butte, Mont. Earl Davenport, gunshot wound, sister Mrs. Bernlce Fischer, Teha-chapi, Teha-chapi, Cal. Tho following deaths not ln action also wero reported: First Lieutenant Frank B. Turner, airplane accident; Wiconico, Md. Cadet Charles A. Hopkins, airplane accident, Newark, N. ,T. Corporal Leo O. Sailors, gunshot wound, Pittsburg, Kan. Prlvnto Earl L, Maxim, pnuemonlo, Locko Mills, Me. General Pershing later reported that Private Dave Goldberg, Chicago, infantry, in-fantry, was slightly wounded in action on February 3. The death, not in action, ac-tion, of Prlvato Caldwell E. Field, Chicago, Chi-cago, automobile accident, was also roportcd. |
