Probably no more delightful an aC- fair has been given during the last Veek than the party held on Saturday Satur-day evening at the attractive home of Mr. and Mrs. II. J. Barton in Wilson Lane, "whenMr. and Mrs. Barton and Mr. and Mrs. John Drake entertained in honor of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Hunter at a dinner party followed by ' card games. A perfectly prepared dinner was served at an early hour In the evening at two prettily decorated tables ta-bles Bet in the dining room and library li-brary of tlio Barton's spacious home. Smaller tables woro also arranged in a charming manner and all -were adorned with vases of pink and white carnations and ferns. Potted plants and palms placed about the rooms added to the decorative effect. While the guests dined, pleasing selections were played on the Victrola and following fol-lowing dinner progressive high-five was enjoyed, the prizes being givon to Mr. Blaine Baxter, Mr. P. W. Hunter, Mr. C. E. Armstrong and Mr. L. H. Wilson. Wil-son. In addition to the card games music and social chat was eDjoyed. Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Hunter, who honor guests at this pleasant affair, are Brigham City residents, Mr, Hunter Hun-ter being superintendent of the Brig-ham Brig-ham City factory of the Amalgamated Sugar company.
