William Russell, tho clover young actor, exhibits somo new and startling athletic features in his latest American-Mutual production, "In Bad," which opens a three-day run at tho! Orpheum tomorrow. Tho story has to do with the adventures adven-tures of young "Monte" Harrison, an up -town Now York livo wire, who hates society and refuses to meet "the flossies," as ho calls the season's debutantes. "Monte" Installed a private "gym" on tho second floor of his father's homo and there staged boxing matches with his professional instructor, "Bull" Montana. In one of these affairs he ', was knocked over a ballustrado, landing land-ing at the feet of Victoria Harrison, the season's belle. One look at VIc-torie VIc-torie changed "Monte's" mind. He chased tho young woman half way round tho world before ho won her. Tho sccno shifts from luflh avenue to Yucatan, whero Russell as Monto carries on his ardent and vigorous courtship without flowers and taxi-cabs, taxi-cabs, but with much greater effective-1 ness. The cast is a good one. It includes r Miss Francella Billington, Hnrvev : Clark, Lucille Ward, Carl Stockdale, Freddie Smith and "Bull" Montana.
