Show IEXT DEPARTURE f II SOLDIER BOYS 10 IE 111. 2 The fourth increment of drafted men from Ogden City and Weber county has been ordered to leave for Camp Lewis, American Lake, Wash., starting November 2, according to an official message received in Ogden today to-day from the adjutant general. There will be 15 per cent of the county's quota of sixty men and 15 per cent of tho city's quota of thirty-two men who will be required to leave with this expedition. ex-pedition. Definite information concerning con-cerning tho entrainnient and exact dates of departure has not been received re-ceived yet but will bo within a few days. The letter which was sent from tho office of the adjutant general at tho state capitol follows: "The remaining 15 per cent of the state's quota of white men certified for military service are called for service by the provost marshal general beginning November 2, 1917. "It will be necessary for you to complete com-plete the balance of your not quota on this call. Instructions as to routing and dates of departure by mall as soon as received from railroad officials. "By Order Adjutant General." The rounty draft board will meet on i u i. id i M HHHJ Monday to select the men who are to fill this quota. Several extras will have to be furnished, as three men have thus far been returned to tho VM county from Camp Lewis for various physical defects which were discov- ered after they arrived there. |
