Show PERFECT ORGANIZATION. Meeting in St Joseph's hall on Thursday the St. Joseph's Sowing society so-ciety of the Catholic church, met and effected an organization for Red Cross work. Mrs. Daniel Boyle was named as chairman of knitting, Mrs. Mary Connor, Mrs. Charles Murphy and Miss Genevieve McNulty, assistants. Mrs. Raymond Morrissey was selected chairman chair-man of the gauze and bandages com-mlttoo com-mlttoo with Mrs. Thomas A. Whalen assistant Mrs.. Roland Ballantyno Is chairman of the garments and sewing committee and for tho Red Cross Christmas boxes, Mrs. James A. Gill was named with Miss Daisoy Magln-nis Magln-nis and Mrs. Boyle as nor assistants. Mrs. H. B. Johnston mot with the ladieB at 3 o'clock and gave many useful use-ful instructions on Red Cross work. The next regular meeting will be announced an-nounced lator. In compliment to her sister, Juno Scowcroft, Mrs. Louis H. Peery will entertain en-tertain on Monday at her homo in the Peery apartments. Close girl friends of Miss Scowcroft have been asked for the afternoon. |
