Show SISTER MARY CANICE CALLED BY DEATH SALT LAKE, Oct. 19. Sister Mary Canlce, Margaret Morrisoy, died at tho 'Holy Cross hospital yesterday afternoon, after-noon, after an Illness of eight weeks, at the age of 43. She was a teacher at (Eureka for fifteen years, during which time she became widely known. She is survived by a brother and sister in Ireland, two brothers In Los Angeles, and Sister Purification, nlso of the community of the Sisters of the Holy Cross, at the Holy Rosary academy, ! Woodland, Cal., who is known here. Rev. M. F. Sheehan, pastor of St. Patrick's Pat-rick's church, is alsoa relative. Sister Canice, who was born in Ireland, Ire-land, entered the Community of Sisters Sis-ters of the Holy Cross at St. Mary's ( convent at Notre Dame, Ind., in -1S91. She spent tho early pari of her mission ! life in the east. She has also filled the obedlenco of teacher at St. Agnes' school at Los Angeles. Funeral services will be at the Holy Cross hospital chapel Monday morning at 9 o'clock. nn |
