Akresolutton propaslnc an amendment to Sec tion 3, Articlo 13 of tho Constitution ot th Stata of Utah, relating to uniform taxes and exemptions. Be It resolved by tho Legislature of the SUt of Utah, two-thirds of a)) the members elected to each house concurring therein. Section 1. That it in proposed to amend Section 3 of Article XIII of the Constitution of the State of Utah 60 that tho same will read as follows : Section 3. Tho Lcclslntur shall provide hj law a uniform and equal rat of asseasment and taxation on all property In tho State, according ac-cording to Its valuo In money, and shnll'pre. scrlbo by general law such regulations as shall ecurc a Just vnluatlon for taxation of all property, so that every person nnd corpora, tion shall pay n tax In proportion to tht value of his. her or its property 1 Provided that a deduction of debit from credits may b uthoriied: Provided foriher.
