Show iraHAlffiNOW IN A MOST SERIOUS CONDITION Mrs. Oscar B. Madson, wife of Oscar B. Madson of West Twelfth street, died at 3:10 a. m. today of pneumonia, resulting re-sulting from Spanish influenza. Mrs. Madson contracted the disease nursing her little daughter, who died October. 17. Her second daughter, Kathryn, aged 11, is very seriously ill with the disease dis-ease at present and the doctor has given Mr. Madson slight hope for her recovery. Kathryn became ill Thursday. Thurs-day. The youngest child, Oscar B. Mad- son, Jr., is also ill of influenza but In a mild form and he is expected to recover. re-cover. Mrs. Madson was bom in Ogden, 34 years ago, the daughter 'of Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Bauscher. Both her parents are dead. She is survived by several other relatives in Ogden. Tho Madson family has been struck a torriblc blow by the dread 'malady, the two deaths resulting in such a short space of time and another momentarily mo-mentarily expected, that the whole city has felt sympathy for the bereaved bereav-ed husband and father. |
