Show EVANSTON NEWS Evanston. Wyo . April 27. A social was held at the Odd Fellows hall last evening, at which a delightful program was rendered followed by refreshments. refresh-ments. The Evanston Odd Fellows lodge No. 6, will, in a body, attend divine worship at the Baptist chureli tomorrow, tomor-row, the occasion being the Odd Fellows' Fel-lows' anniversary Rev. E B. Johnson John-son will preach the anniversary sermon. ser-mon. William Newton of Mt. View was a business visitor to our burg Monday. Mrs. Frank Nelson was taken by her husband to Topeka. Kansas, last Tuesday, Tues-day, for her health. Bishop John Kennedy and wife of Randolph, were visitors in our city Tuesday. John Dwyer. an old-timer, was in Evanston calling on his friends of long ago. He expects to go to a soldiers' home in California. Mr and Mrs. Thomas Crosby entertained enter-tained a number of friends at their home last Saturday evening in honor of Mrs. H. Day of Ogden. Neil Durnford volunteered his services ser-vices to U. S. in the navy department, but was rejected because of defective eyesight Last Saturday was Rod Star Taf Day in Evanston. Quite a sum was realized. The annual school exhibit hown yesterday was a huge success. oo |
