Show t ! ! ; n Scottish Cronies Give Party For Member Who Joins Army I ) Thursday evening, April 25th. will long be remembered by the members of the Ancient Order of Scottish Cronies, who with their wives and a few friends gathered at the home of Cronie James B. Simpson of 238 Twenty ninth street, to do honor to one of their past chiefs, Cronie Harry White. Just prior to his departure for Canada, where he will report snortly as a result of his recent enlisiment In the British army. A patriotic concert, the feature of the evening, was participated in by-Mrs. by-Mrs. Agnes Warner, Mrs. Robert H. Moyes, Mrs Gregor Stewart, Mrs. George Lochhead, Jr., Mrs. Harry Heywood. Hey-wood. Mr. James Macbeth. Mr James Simpson, Mr. Harry Heywood, Mr. Gregor Stewart, Mr. George Lochhead and Mr. Harry White. After the program of concert and dance a victory banquet was served by the ladies Past Chief-Frank 'Carr. who was chairman of the evenins. called upon Chief George Lochhead during the banquet to respond to the toast, "Our Own Harry." Chief Lochhead Loch-head complimented Cronie White on nifl 100 per cent exhibition of patriotism patriot-ism In joininc the colors and voluntarily volun-tarily offerlug his services to fight! for liberty and in behalf of his Cronie friends presented him with a wrist watch and admonishing him to go over the top with it on time when he reached France. Cronies T. S.
