The nominations h. ve in the main been kept in the dark in the different classes, but it is known that Maurice Conroy for the seniors. Ed Woods for the juniors and Daniel Rowlands for the sophomores, are the candidates for president A great deal of antagonism has been aroused in the sophomore class on account of the fact that a petition was presented to them by the president of the class which nominates Daniel Rowlands, a junior, tor president, to be supported by the sophs. This seems to have rubbed the sophomores against the grain because they naturally na-turally would support some one from their own class, hut only juniors and seniors are permitted to run for this office. This act on the part of the officers of the sophomore class seems a little crude and the majority of the class are in favor of voting independently independ-ently for the candidate who seems to be the best fitted for the office.
