Show I TO 1 MEET ON FRIDAY; r- i SALT LAKE, Dec. 4. An important food production and conservation con-, ference between all the manufacturing! and producing interests of the entire' 'state of Utah has been called for 12 : 30 1 oclock Friday afternoon at the Com-, mercial club by the Manufacturers'! Association of Utah. The official call for the conference' was issued yesterday from the office of j the secretary of the association, and aj fl large attendance of manufacturers j J -and producers from every section of j 1 -the state is expected. The principal topic for discussion at the meeting Is to be that of closer coordination co-ordination and co-operation between the manufacturer and the producer, with a view to increasing the production produc-tion and conserving tho food products of the state to the best advantage. Among the various interests .which ! will be represented at the meeting will he the canning factories, sugar industry, indus-try, packing plants, flour mills, hay and feed concerns, cereal factories, dairying industry, creameries, the farm bureaus, th federation of labor and "farmers from every section of the state. At this meeting various subjects pertaining per-taining to increased production and closer co-operation between the producer pro-ducer and the manufacturer will be dis-I dis-I , cussed by leaders among the manufac-j manufac-j turers and producers. It Is proposed to have the meeting ' appoint an executive committee, which will in turn appoint subcommittees for work in the various counties of the state. The general committee will have supervision over the work throughout the state, and details of local work will be left in the hands of the subcommittees named for each county, j One of the subjects in connection with increased production that will be up for discussion will be that of rotation rota-tion of crons.
