Show FAMILY QUARREL ISi AIRED 111 CITY COURT As a climax to a series of familv rows, William Hadley and wifo landed in police court this morning. The wife had unmistakable evidence of serious combat by displaying to the court two bleeding and unwashed hands, whose finger tips, she alleges, had been cut and spiked by her husband's hus-band's careless wielding of a knife and fork. Hadley a veteran of 71 years, white haired and inexperienced in court procedure, pro-cedure, was unable to hide his wounds behind gloves as they were located beneath be-neath his right eyes and at the side of his face. They were not serious but they acted as silent witnesses that he, too, had received a few jabs. Mrs. Hadley accused her aged husband hus-band of failure to provide and declared de-clared that the family was without sufficient suf-ficient food. She also declared that he treated the horses better than he treated his family. He counter-charged that she was eternally nagging, fre- quently threw bricks and applied un-pretty un-pretty epithets to his children by a former marriage. Judge John S. Barker took judicial cognizance of the difference in age and temperaments of the two principals, gave them a lecture. The arrest was made by Detective J. L. Hobson. The man is a Utah pioneer and once was wealthy. He now owns his home at Van Buren and Twenty-fourth street.
