Show HUNGRY DOG RESCUED FROM TOP OF J BUI A canine tragedy was narrowly averted today when Frank L. Bonn manager of the Col. Hudson building, climbed to the roof in response to a sudden inspiration, and there found a little brindle bullpup whining and crying cry-ing piteously in despair at its failure to get down. The pup had been on the roof three days and was so overjoyed over-joyed at seeing a friend and liberator in the person of Mr. Bohn. that It wriggled its thanks on the floor and stairs, in the lobby and on tho sidewalk, side-walk, for nearly a half hour, although a total stranger to him. After rescuing the pup. Mr. Bohn with ready understanding, took him into the kitchen of the Weber club where the remains of a succulent rib-roast rib-roast was waiting for the morrow's hash and saved it from this fate by securing se-curing it for the dog. Then with the chunk of meat in its mouth, which was larger by several inches than his head, the pup eagerly scrambled down to me ground, not however neglecting to show his thanks on every sten and landing of the building.
