The company is widely extending ex-tending the area of its operations and increasing Its business to an enormous extent. Recovering Miss Venice Hanson, 2935 Grant avenue, is convalescing, after aft-er a long illness brought on by diseased dis-eased tonsils. Called Home Mrs. Mary A. Helen Perkins departed today for Los Angeles, Cal., over tho Salt Lake Route, Robbery Robbers effected an entrance en-trance to the billiard hall and Harvey cafe, under the Howell store, last night and made a substantial haul. The safe in the billiard hall was forced and $G0 abstracted therefrom and the robbers Becured $25 from tho cafo cash box. Tho robbery was reported to the police po-lice department. Song Se'rvlce The Ninth ward choir has arranged to give a song service in the ward chapel Sunday ntght. The service will be started at 7 o'clock and the public Is invited to attend. Captain W. E. Kneass of Troop B, Utah cavalry, Is to be tho honor guest tonight of the non-commissioned officers offi-cers of the Ogden high school cadet battalion at a banquet. Other special guests will be Principal J. E. Beeson of the high school and Dr. Reinhold Kanz-ler, Kanz-ler, physical adviser of the cadets. Captain Kneass Is commandant of the battalion and tho banquet was arranged ar-ranged in view of his probable early call into rogular army service. oo |
