Show oo ORCHESTRA 10 BE PLEBG FEATURE In connection with the forthcoming production of the comic operetta "Bul-bul" "Bul-bul" at the Orpheum theater by the Ogden High school junior class, the interesting announcement was mado by Director Marcellus Smith this morn Chat the high school ladies orchestra or-chestra would be featured in a special program. This will be presented during dur-ing the interval between the two acts of the operetta and will bo the (irst appearance ap-pearance of the orchestra, downtown, since the commencement exercises of last year. The girlB are all officlcnt amateur musicians and their organization organiza-tion is ono that should bo heard often-er often-er in public. This orchestral treat will be supplemented supple-mented by or a supplement to that of the largest orchestra composed of Ogden musicians that has been brought into being, and will be com-posed'of com-posed'of 25 musicians, including members mem-bers of the regular Orpheum orchestra, orches-tra, the others being high "school instrumentalists. in-strumentalists. Its duty will bo to play the score of the operetta and it has been well rehearsed. The musical play was again rehearsed re-hearsed at the high school last night with almost complete success, and these seems to bo little question but that it will be presonted next Wednesday Wed-nesday night In satisfactory fashion. A meeting of the ticket commltoe was held at tho school yosterday afternoon and it was asoertalned that the sale of tickets is progressing at an encouraging encour-aging rate. Tho sale was opened downtown this morning at Mclntyre's and Culley's drug stores and will open at the Orpheum box office next Mon-dav. |
