Show oo To determine the extent to which motoi4 car dealers could distinguish different makes of cars, a test was recently re-cently made by Leslie's Weekly in its motor review. Ninety-nine and throe-tenths throe-tenths per cent of the total number of dealers polled, named the Cadillac correctly cor-rectly from pictures of it and thirty-nine thirty-nine other cars. Pictures of forty cars were selected and printed. Distinguishing marks not directly associated with the design of the car were carefully eliminated, and the pictures thus printed. Tho motor review is sent exclusively to automobile automo-bile dealers, and they were Invited to name as many of the forty cars as they know. "We feel that this unusually high percentage is not only a tribute of distinction dis-tinction of tho car itself, but indicates that tho average dealer Is familiar with all cars his competitor's lino as well as his own," says a letter from the weekly to the Cadillac Motor Car company. |
