The horsepower of. motors Is now determined by multiplying the diameter diame-ter of tho bore by the length of the stroke, multiplied by tho number of cylinders of the engine. The following follow-ing information has been Issued by the secretary of state for the guidance of motorists: Annual fees, registration, motor vehicles ve-hicles and chauffeurs. Two dollars (52) for each chauffeur. Three dollars (S3) for each motorcycle. motor-cycle. Ten dollars (310) for each electric motor vehicle used only for pleasure purposes. Five dollars (?5) for each steam propelled motor vehicle not exceeding 15-horsepower. Ten dollars ($10) for eacji steam propelled motor vehlclo exceeding 15-horsepower. 15-horsepower. Ten dollars ($10) for each commercial commer-cial motor vehicle used for carrying passengers for hire. Ten dollars ($10) for each nonpas-senger nonpas-senger carrying commercial motor vehicle ve-hicle or truck. Five dollars ($5) for overy other motor mo-tor vehicle not exceeding 25-horse-power. Ten dollars ($10) for every other motor vehicle exceeding 25, but not exceeding ex-ceeding 40-horsepowor. Fifteen dollars (?l$)for every other motor vehicle exceeding 40-horse-1 power. Twenty-five dollars ($25) for each dealer's or manufacturer's license. Additional dealer's plates may be secured se-cured at a cost of $2 a set. Applicants must give the factory number, diameter of bore and tho" stroke. |
