Show 0 LADIES' BID IS IM ASSURED SUCCESS Plans for the organization of tho Ogden Ladies' band will be furthered tonight at a moetlng to be held In the office of Principal James L. Barker at tho Weber academy, at 8 o'clock. Next Saturday evening another meeting will be held and at that time tho char-tor char-tor membership rolls will be closed. Thereafter now members will bo required re-quired to pay a special entrance foe. Prof. E. W. Nichols, who Is to act as director of the band, stated today that he was virtually assured of a membership of fifty young ladles, nearly near-ly that many having already signified their desiro to join the band. With tho possible exception of somo of the big bass horns, he also stated, tho band members would also furnish their own instruments. Interest in the prospective musical organization iB widespread in tho city and it Is believed be-lieved It will bo a wolcomo addition to tho city's musical circle. Tho dlroctor Is desirous of having all prospective members present at the meeting this evening, so that tho starting of rehearsals may bo hastened. |
