Show JACK ECGLES READY TO EHUSf II . IEII Jack Eccles, a son of the late David Eccles, and Frank B. Grady, another Ogden youth, signified their willingness willing-ness this morning to enlist for service serv-ice in the war against Germany. The young men' are now in Baker, Ore., and this morning they sent the following follow-ing telegram to Lieutenant Roscoe Glasmann of Troop K, National Guard of Utah: "Are B and K troops full, answer collect. Will enlist. (Signed) FRANK B. GRADY, JACK ECCLES." This assertion of the two young men, in the face of certain war service, serv-ice, is highly commendable, particularly particu-larly in the case of Jack Eccles, who Is almost a millionaire in his own right, with all the joys of life that wealth brings, before him. There is plenty of room in either of the Ogden troops for both men. |
