First prices were irregularly lower, fresh liquidation liquida-tion being largely induced by reports of a German raider oft the New England Eng-land coaat. The more substantial declines de-clines of the first half hour included Bethlehem Steel new stock and marine preferred, which fell almost three points each, with one to three for Lackawanna Steel, Chino Copper, Industrial In-dustrial Alcohol. Studebaker, General Motors, Ohio Gas, Mexican Petroleum and Corn Products.
