Early Monday morning n high wind followod by an heavy snowstorm swept over tho Bear River valley and about ten inches more snow is added to the covering of tho fiolds which means two more weeks delay with the spring work. The feed shortage situation has be- j come quite desperate, as many valua- JH ble cows and horses have died during H the long and hard winter. Realizing H that the farmers were without hay and M grain to feed their work-horses for the H spring, the Utah-Idaho Sugar company M shipped several carloads of hay and H giain from Nort Yakima and southern M Utah, which have been distributed jH among the farmers. There is still H more coming, so that there will be IH jjlenty for all teams and stock of all jH kinds until next harvest time. It is M expected that good size crops will be M harvested, so that there will be plenty H of feed to meet the demand for next IH Mrs. Melvin Gibbs was taken to the jH Deo hospital In Ogden by Dr. W. M. H Cragun of Garland to undergo an oper- H ation, which was performed by the JH Doctors Cragun and Rich. Mrs. Gibbs jH is reported as recovering. H Nancy West Ottogary was granted H a divorce from Willie Ottogary in the H district court in Brigham City last mM Monday on the grounds of cruelty.
