Show FOUR ARE KILLED ON RAILROAD CROSSING GIBBON, Nob., April 11, Four persons per-sons wero killed instantly and one was seriously injured a mile east of hero tonight when an automobile in which they were driving was struck by a faBt train on tho Union Pacific railroad. The dead: Mrs C. T. Thatcher. Gibbon. Sarah Thatchor, daughter of Mrs. Thatcher. Norma Gordon, Kearney, Neb., teacher in Gibbon schools. Miss Helen Sloss, North Bend, Neb. The Injured: Ruth Thatcher, daughter of Mrs. Thatcher, probably will die. The young woman who was driving the automobile attempted to cross tho track ahead of tho approaching train, tho speed of which she miscalculated. " |
