Show WILLIAM BOWEN DIES AFTER BRIEF ILLNESS Salt Lake, Nov. 17. William Bow-en, Bow-en, 58 years of age. vice president of the Commercial club, local manager of the Crane company, president of the Y. M, C A. of Salt Lake, and long prominent in club and business circles cir-cles of the city and state, died suddenly sud-denly yesterday afternoon at his home 424 Thirteenth East street. Acute Indigestion waB the cause of Mr. Bowen's death. lie attended to his business as usual Saturday, complained com-plained of "not feeling very well" Sunday and was too sick Monday to take up his work, but it was not until un-til yesterday afternoon that his condition con-dition became alarming. Arrangements Arrange-ments for the funeral have not yet been completed. In the absence of President George A. Steiner, S. H. Clay, secretary of the Commercial club, has called a special meeting of the board ot gov-rnors gov-rnors to bo held at 12:30 o'clock this afternoon, at which the question of Mr. Bowen's sudden death will be discussed and resolutions of respect and condolence formulated. |
