Most of the practice was devoted to offensive work and a number of new plays to be used on Saturday were worked with good success. Otis Guernsey, whose field goal kicking was a feature of the Princeton victory, vic-tory, showed that he had lost none of his cunning, for ho booted the ball between the uprights six out of eight times from the forty-yard line. Scovil, who has a broken thumb, played at fullback on tho varsity for a short time and it Is believed he will play a part of the Harvard game. Coach Tom Shovlin and his corps of assistants continued their hammerings hammer-ings at the attack and defensive work of tho ends. The Blue's offensive against Princeton is considered to have been only elementary and it is understood that Shevlln has new plays, involving the forward pass which are to be used against the Crimson.
