Show IOE TINKER IS TO QUIT CHICAGO Chicago, Oct. 29. Shortstop Joe Tinker of tho Chicago National league baseball team and Garry Herrmann, owner of the city team in tho same league, agreed upon terms under which Tinker will manage tho Ohio club next season If he can obtain his release from Chicago, It was announced announc-ed today. Both Tinker and Herrmann confirmed con-firmed the announcement and expressed ex-pressed hope that President Murphy, of the Chicago club would rcleaso the shortstop. No dotallB of tho agreement agree-ment were given out. President Murphy gave no indication indica-tion of what courBc ho would follow. Ho leaves today for Philadelphia for discussion with President Fogel, of tho club there, regarding possible tradeB, ho sayB. Tinker has had some managerial experience, having "understudied" Manager Chanco tho past season while tho latter was in n Now York hospital.
