When tho local delegation wont down to Salt Lake last night to at-tond at-tond the minstrel show given by the Elks of the Salt Lake lodge thoy took with them a full-blooded, wild and woolly Indian buck. The entire trip was enjoyed without mishap and the Indian was still with them when they marched proudly up tho Salt Lake strcetB to tho theater. But there they lost their Indian friend Nothing moro was seen of him for some time uutll the attention of all was attracted by unusual applause to 'the parquet. Looking in that direction the Ogden Elks saw Lo, the poor ledmuu, grinning grin-ning from ear to ear. onjoylng tho minstrel performance During the entire en-tire show the audience believed that the Indian was a member of the Ogden Og-den lodge in disguise. |
