Show "dynamiting OF HOTEL UTAH Sargeant J. J. Roberts and Patrolman Patrol-man C. C. Cartenson of the Salt ' Lako City police force wore served with subpoenas today by United States Marshall Anderson directing thorn to appear Immediately before the grand jury at Indianapolis to tes- Itify in regard to the alleged dynamite conspiracy. It is believed that their testimony may have to do with the dynamiting of the Hotel Utah whllo under course of construction two years ago. ' The Hotel Utah was dynamited in December, 1909, and again In January, Janu-ary, 1910, the latter explosion doing the most damage. "High Pockets , Delaney and Jack Wilson, two Iron workers, were arrested and pleaded guilt' to a charge of malicious mischief mis-chief and destroying property Delaney De-laney served six months in the county ! jail but Wilson, who has testified against his companion, was allowed to go under a suspended sentence. The Hotel Utah was an "open shop" job Roberts and Cartenson passed through today for Indianapolis. oo |
