Show NO TICKETS SOLD AT FAIR GROUNDS Have tho proper change ready. This will be the advice of the management to all patrons ot the 1911 Utah state fair, according to a decision reached at a meeting of the board of directors direc-tors of the Utah State Fair association, associa-tion, held in the Vermont bulldlifg last nfght. Admission tickets are to be dispensed with and entrance will be through coin-operated turnstiles. After discussing the proposition from various standpoints the directors direc-tors felt tho handling of the crowds could be facilitated as well as a financial fi-nancial saving effected by the installation instal-lation of the turnstiles. The board has authorized the purchase of a sut flcient number of the machines to take care of the crowds that annually annual-ly flock to the fair grounds. The chlldrens' gate will be operated operat-ed by a sliver dime, the general admission ad-mission gate a quarter and the gate to tho race track and grandstand by a half dollar. According to information received by Secretary Horace S. Ensign nearly near-ly all of tho state fair associations have equipped their grounds with the turnstiles, and are high in their praises prais-es of their effectiveness. |
