Show Saloon advocates are claiming that prohibition would injure business and reduce rents, and yet they are appealing appeal-ing to persons who'rent to vote against prohibition and In favor of the saloon. The history of other cities that have tried prohibition proves beyond question ques-tion that prohibition does not injure, but helps legitimate business. But If the claims of the saloon advocates are true that rents will be reduced If we havo no saloonn, how can they ask people peo-ple who rent their houses to vote for saloons? If the claims of the saloon men are true every renter should vote against saloons. |
