Show Wranglers begins plans for Annual July Race Meet running at the Parowan Meet. Vyonne Chamberlain is president of the Wranglers this year, with Norm Evans racing chairman. Parowan City is sponsoring many activities also on the 4th with a parade and town meeting. Uncle Sam and the Goddess of Liberty will be riding on one of the floats and will be chosen by the American Legion to also take part in the meeting. Many activities ac-tivities for young and old will be held in the City Park. The Parowan Fire Department will sponsor an exciting evening of fireworks at the City Race Track under the direction of Albert Qrton, fire chief, to finish off the days activities. PAROWAN - Plans are going ahead rapidly for the Red Hill Wranglers 22nd Annual 4th of July Race Meet. This will be the third event sponsored by the club this year with the races held Memorial Day and the Rodeo just presented June 14 and 15. The club is a nonprofit non-profit organization, and presents these shows for your pleasure and to promote horse racing and rodeo in Utah. Horse racing has grown to an extent that it is one of the best attended sports in Utah and is by far the best attended world wide. Many fine horses are being bred in this area and the sport of Kings affords thrills for everyone. The Parowan track offers fine facilities and there are many horses locally owned that offer good competition for any coming in. Cedar City also has many very fine horses that will be |
